About Us ..

As you may have guessed, we like to Hike.  Letterboxing is just one of the many ways we take advantage of the beautiful outdoors.  We also enjoy just going on an easy day hike once in a while with no worries and no desperate searching for clues.  Don't get me wrong... I love to Letterbox.

We also aspire to one day complete a Thru-Hike of the Appalachian Trail.  The Appalachian Trail, or the AT as we say in the biz, is a 2,000+ mile trail running from Mount Springer in Georgia all the way up to Mount Katahdin in Maine.  If you would like to learn more about the AT just click here and explore and be amazed:  www.appalachiantrail.org

I, Matt Pattavina, am a student currently at Paier College of Art in Hamden CT.  I plan to graduate this May.  I am majoring in Graphic Design but I enjoy all avenues of art.

Missy is a soon to be Elementary School Teacher.  She is in study to recieve her teaching certificate at the University of New Haven.  She also appreciates and has talent in the arts.  We plan to do some Monet/Renoir style oil painting when we find time to.  Perhaps I'll post some painting and/or drawings we have done on this site.

We both hope to travel the world someday.  Missy has already been to Europe and spent a semester in London already.  The furthest I've been from CT is Georgia south and Canada north.  West probably Scranton, PA where the bulk of Missy's realatives live.  Of course East I've been to the Atlantic Ocean through means of Cape Cod or Rhoad Island.

I love New England with all of my heart and I can't imagine a better place for me to live.  The history and the feeling the change of the season has over me a fantastic thing.  Although I would like to live in other places for a short while just for fun, my heart lies in New England.  And you know what they say... Home is where the Heart is.
In saying that, I would love to spend some time in the Great White North and have a cozy cabin in the Canadian Wild next to a beautiful shimmering lake.  Dosen't that sound nice?

Well I could go on and on about whatever, but I won't.  If yo want to know more about me just ask.  :)
