Little Falls Letterbox: (reportedly missing)

From the park's main parking lot walk up the stairs and then pass the picnic tables to the bridge crossing the stream. (not the covered bridge but the next one)  Here you will find the beginning of the main trail. Make sure you follow this trail... it is marked with Orange Blazes.  Follow this trail for a while.  You will pass the Giant Laurel.  You can't miss it.  There is a sign that says Giant Lurel and behind it is, of course, a Giant Lurel.  Opposite from the Tree there will be a large map of the park.  Take a look at it if you like and see where you are.  You will be going to the Little Falls so you might want to take a look.  Keep following the Orange main trail until you come to a fork.  Here you will see a sign that reads:  Little Falls and Big Falls ... follow the trail that guides you to the Little Falls and you will find that the trail will cross the stream.  Where the trail crosses the sream you should be able to see the Little Falls.  Aren't they pretty?  Watch your step crossing the stream.  There will be no bridge so find some good stepping stones.  Continue on the trail after you cross the stream up the hill and you will curve sharply to the left (right angle).  Follow it and you will come to a rock patch that overlooks the falls.  From here you can look down at the falls.  Stand near the edge and you will see three trees with one base at about North.  Now turn around facing about South.  There will be a tree that splits at the base so it looks like two trees about 15 paces away in front of you.  While walking the 15 paces you will be close to the stream edge.  Now the base of the forked tree should be pretty much eye level.  Near the base of the tree there will be a good sized crevis that you can reach your hand into.  There behind some rocks you will find the LITTLE FALLS LETTERBOX.  Well Done!

Big Falls Letterbox: (missing)

From the park's main parking lot walk up the stairs and then pass the picnic tables to the bridge crossing the stream. (not the covered bridge but the next one)  Here you will find the beginning of the main trail. Make sure you follow this trail... it is marked with Orange Blazes.  Follow this trail for a while past the bridge and the Giant Laurel and the sign pointing you either towards the Big Falls or Little Falls (obviously we will be taking the Big Falls Trail which is the main Orange Trail) all the wat until you come to a paved road.  Here you will see a post that points the way to the Big Falls.  Follow where the arrow points along the road.  Cross the train tracks and you will come to a sidewalk that will lead you over the bridge.  When you cross the bridge you will come to a small parking area.  Turn right and go down the hill, cross the clearing to the green fence.  Take the stairs to the left of the green fence.  Now you are at the Big Falls.  Take a look and sit a while if you please on the bench nearby.  From this bench standing with it to your left walk 30 paces in a stright line in front of you.  Here you'll see an unmarked trail that goes to the edge of the water and then goes up a short, steep hill.  From where you stopped your last 30 paces walk up the trail 35 paces.  You will come to a couple of wide trees about 20 ft. apart that are on the very edge and look like they might leap into the river.  Go to the second tree walking along the path... it is slightly wider than the first.  With your back to it walk up the hill 30 paces.  There you will find three trees that are lying down.  One to your right, one in front of you and one to your left.  Follow the one to your right to the end where it will be leaning against a tree that's standing up.  Look under it toward the end where it is leaning on the standing tree, in a crevice, you will find the BIG FALLS LETTERBOX!  You can look back and see the Falls... and hear them.  Bravo!
